A Little Message, A Big Impact 💜

Sometimes, the simplest messages mean the most.

In this heartfelt moment, a little girl leaves a voice message for her tutor — a beautiful reminder that learning is about more than academics. It is about building relationships, creating trust, feeling supported, and knowing that someone believes in you.

Because behind every lesson is a relationship — and sometimes, a little voice can say it best. 🌟

Ivy's Day Services Review

Anthony J. Pierce, Associate Director of Digital Marketing & Community Relations

“At ECS4Kids, we believe literacy is about more than teaching children to read. It is about helping children and families see what is possible for their lives. That is why I wanted to intentionally highlight local authors and creators—to show our families that the people and dreams they read about can come from their very own communities.

Kazmar Cole answered that call.

He first came to ECS4Kids to read his book, My Feelings at School, to our little learners. The book offers a meaningful introduction to school and learning for all children, while also shining a special light on the unique experiences of students with special needs. What began as a reading visit quickly became something much more meaningful. After touring our center, Mr. Cole committed to volunteering regularly and has continued to show up for our children and families.

Since then, he has shared his books featuring children with special needs at multiple ECS4Kids centers and has generously donated books to help build our center libraries. His commitment has demonstrated that literacy can be a bridge to representation, belonging, possibility, and connection.

Mr. Cole has been an invaluable partner to ECS4Kids, and I am grateful for the way he continues to put his words into action. Our missions are deeply aligned: using education, literacy, and holistic wellness to strengthen not only the child, but the entire family—with love at the center of everything we do.

I am proud to endorse Kazmar Cole and the work he is doing to ensure that children see themselves, their possibilities, and their potential reflected in the stories they read and the people who show up for them.”
